We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR function and shape the employee experience across our organization. This role will be responsible for setting HR strategy, ensuring compliance with employment laws, overseeing talent management, and developing programs that attract, engage, and retain top talent. Reporting to senior leadership, the Director will serve as a trusted advisor and partner in building a strong, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and payroll.
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals and workforce needs.
- Drive employee engagement, performance management, and leadership development programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.).
- Manage compensation, benefits, and retirement programs, including 401K compliance and audits.
- Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations with professionalism and fairness.
- Serve as a visible, approachable leader who builds trust and promotes a positive work culture.
- Work closely with employees to resolve and assist with benefit questions and issues.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 3 years at the director or senior manager level.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
