  • Recruiting and Hiring:

    • Developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates, including job postings, networking, and sourcing.

    • Screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.

    • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations during the hiring process.

  • Onboarding and Training:

    • Developing and implementing onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the facility and its culture.

    • Providing training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

    • Ensuring all staff receive necessary training for their roles, including regulatory compliance training.

  • Employee Relations:

    • Addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.

    • Implementing and maintaining employee relations policies and procedures.

    • Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees.

  • Compliance:

    • Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employment, such as labor laws, wage and hour laws, and anti-discrimination laws.

    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.

    • Staying informed about changes in employment law and regulations.

  • Compensation and Benefits:

    • Administering employee compensation and benefits programs, including payroll, health insurance, and retirement plans.

    • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

    • Staying informed about changes in compensation and benefits regulations.

  • Performance Management:

    • Developing and implementing performance management systems to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.

    • Conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.

    • Addressing performance issues and developing corrective action plans.

  • Retention:

    • Implementing strategies to improve employee retention, such as employee recognition programs and career development opportunities.

    • Monitoring employee turnover and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Other Responsibilities:

    • May be responsible for managing worker's compensation claims.

    • May assist with staffing planning and scheduling.

    • May be involved in quality improvement initiatives.
